Cinnamon seems to be on the tip of everybody’s tongue these days. It has become the miracle ingredient that everyone wants to incorporate into their diet due to its healthful properties. So it stands to wonder, is cinnamon good for type 2 diabetes as well?

Simple carbs are processed white flours and sugars. Whereas complex carbohydrates are more whole grains that are harder for your bodies systems to process. This ensures that your body is having to work harder to digest these while also providing yourself with a more long lasting energy source.

So in answer to the question, “is cinnamon good for type 2 diabetes?” There is not one conclusive answer yet. The key is really to get your diet under control. However, the addition of cinnamon to any diet will certainly not harm it in any way. In fact, with all of the positive properties it could certainly not hurt.
