Diabetes Warning Signs

The first sign of diabetes is urinating frequently. The kidneys lose the ability to use glucose correctly and try to draw fluids out of the body.

When the kidneys are constantly working to clear the glucose out you will have a thirsty sensation. If you feel thirsty no matter if you have drank a lot of liquids or not you should get tested.

If you have symptoms of diabetes type 1 you could experience unexplained weight loss. This is caused from extra fat and lean muscle being burned for energy. The body stops producing insulin and is looking for an extra energy source.

Another sign is feeling overly tired because the cells cannot get the glucose from the blood.

You can also experience numbness and tingling in the fingers and toes. This is from high levels of glucose in the blood stream heading to the nervous system.

When sores do not heal properly this is another sign. Your blood circulation may be effected and the oxygen your body needs to take care of white cells may be effected.

There are also signs of diabetes if you have blurry vision, itchy skin, or extra dry skin.
