Is Oxygen a Cure? Some Believe That it Certainly Is. Used widely in Europe

There are those who firmly believe that the Lack of Oxygen in the human body is the cause underlying many diseases. They say that among these diseases are cancer and a whole list of conditions ranging from AIDS to yeast infections

Research has shown that there are somewhere around 6,000 articles written and published in European medical journals about the use of oxygen therapy. Many of these articles state that oxygen therapy brings about a bodily situation where disease cannot thrive.

Apparently, Oxygen therapy has been used in Europe for about 70 years. This therapy is said to be both effective and safe.

Therefore, it might prove useful to know more about Oxygen which is necessary for so many life forms. It might point to a clue which could explain the claims made about Oxygen therapy in Europe.

Oxygen is the element with atomic number 8 and represented by the symbol O. It is a nonmetallic element, and highly reactive with other elements

Not all forms of Oxygen are good. Another form of Oxygen is ozone (O3), which helps protect the biosphere from ultraviolet radiation at the high-altitude ozone layer. O3 is a pollutant near the surface where it is a by-product of smog.

The statements about Oxygen as a healer would appear to have some validity based on what oxygen is and what it does. Although, the question still remains, Is a lack of oxygen in the body a contributing cause of disease in man?

Oxygen therapy treatment of disease has not been adopted by American medicine. This, even though there apparently are inexpensive, simple ways to move more oxygen into the human body.

It is not the purpose here in this article to go into treatment of any ailment or condition with oxygen. That could not be covered sufficiently in only a few words. There are, though, sources which are more complete which do this. Having a background in what oxygen is, will be of help to you if you go further in your investigation of this modality.
